Navy blue is playing a major role in my wedding coming up, so I wasn't too surprised to hear that it has become especially popular again this winter! It's always been one of my favorite colors, because it seems to have the best of both worlds...it's commonly referred to as a rich, jewel tone, that is also very sleek and simple like black. Navy blue pairs well with almost any other color you could possibly think of - red, tan, yellow, lime green - it'll work with navy as long as it has enough contrast. I don't care what the fashion magazines say, navy and black will always clash!
Many brides have been putting the more muted grey tones to work this past year, as well. It seems as though navy and grey are quickly replacing more traditional wedding colors like black and white, because they're easily paired just about anything, whether you're a fan of brights, pastels or neutrals, to construct a unique wedding color palette.
