Integrating calligraphy or handwriting into your wedding stationery is a simple way to add a lot of elegance to an otherwise simple design. If you are planning on a more extensive guest list, you may choose to go with a letterpress wedding invitation or save the date card using intricate handwriting, or if you aren't planning on inviting hundreds of people, opt to work with a calligrapher to handwrite each piece of wedding paper for more of a personal touch.
If you can't shell out the big bucks for a completely handwritten wedding paper suite, I suggest hiring a calligrapher to address your envelopes. I worked with Hillary of Feather Letter for my wedding invitations, and received tons of compliments on them!
Should you decide to use a unique writing style on your wedding invitations or save the date's, it's a great idea to carry that style throughout your wedding stationery, including the pieces that you plan on producing for your big day, like the wedding programs or menus. I think these "Save the Date" stickers just below are adorable!
