Well, I guess today is all kinds of special, because not only is it Friday (which is automatically awesome), but it's Veteran's Day and the date is a very lucky 11-11-11. As many of you know, days like these are extremely popular for weddings. CNN is reporting that the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas Strip has 200 weddings and vow renewals booked today (compared to the normal 10-12 in one day), with 30 of them including a special serenade by The King himself! Why is everyone going to the chapel? According to numerology, the date is supposed to be a good time to start money-making ventures or relationships, because the number one symbolizes a new beginning, "...double ones are like a doorway, and 11/11/11 is like three doorways - extra powerful." (USA Today)
The couple that I'm featuring today isn't getting married on 11-11-11, but I'm sure that they'll be perfectly happy nonetheless ;) Rachel and Tim wanted their engagement shoot to reflect who they were, so they chose to spend the day with their daugter, Chloe, on Cheat Lake in Morgantown, West Virginia, as they spend most of their weekends. To this day, one of the most memorable engagement shoots that I have ever featured was this sweet family session on the beach in Texas. Not only was it beautiful, but I also loved that the couple chose to include their kids in their engagement shoot, which is a huge reason that I love the shoot that I'm sharing with you guys today! Oh, and let's not forget that there are puppies, too!!!
Shot by Brittany Anderson Photography, Rachel, Tim, Chloe and their two adorable dogs are all smiles while speeding around the lake on their boat! Plus, aren't Rachel and Tim totally cute together? When I heard that they had actually started dating in the 8th grade, I just knew that I couldn't pass up the opportunity to feature them! :)
