Sweet and Simple Engagement Shoot at Appleton Farms Friday, November 18, 2011

Happy Friday! Well, we're heading off to Denver today! My husband was offered a job there, and we're checking out the area to see if it's the right place for us to relocate. Exciting, yet terrifying stuff! I've never really moved more than twenty minutes away from where I grew up, so this would be a big step for me...so for any of you ladies that have dealt with a relocation before, I welcome any advice that you may have!!! :) P.S. I saw Breaking Dawn Part I at midnight last night (or this morning)...I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, honestly. I had my hands over my eyes for half the movie because of the whole demon birth thing...I'm still shocked it was rated PG-13! There's also one super cheesy (and sorry, but kind of laughable) scene with the wolves talking to each other in their heads...oh, geez. But more on that another time!

In the meantime, I'm leaving you with a very sweet and simple engagement shoot by Deborah Zoe Photo. For the photo session, Emily and Wes spent the day with Deborah roaming the simple, peaceful hills and tree shaded dirt roads of Appleton Farms in Ipswich, Massachusetts. There's something really peaceful and simple about it that I just love :)

Thanks so much for featuring Wes and & Em's engagement:)! They are adorable:) Believe it or not, her bouquet was made by me from baby's breath at Stop and Shop and left over ribbon!:)

I relocated from California to TX. It was hard at first and sometimes still is hard. But I don't regret it at all and I've been here 6 years. I miss my family but when I do get to go home and visit, it makes it even more special.

Google maps and gps were my best friend for a few months while I learned where everything was and how to get around.

I LOVE Cows! What an adorable shoot! I have now lived in three different states in less than a year's time so I know a thing about relocation! It certainly is a pain yet so exciting!
