Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving (YAY!), so when I was trying to decide on what today's Picks on Paper would be, I figured it would be only appropriate to do something sort of holiday-related. Candlelight is a great decorative option for holiday and winter weddings because it gives any venue a warm and cozy feeling, without being too themed or over-the-top. What I really love about candles though is that they're not crazy expensive like flowers can often be, but they're equally as romantic and impactful!
Candles are a great holiday option, yes, but really, they're totally appropriate for any evening affair, year-round. There are a ton of ways to integrate candlelight into your wedding decor, too! Line your walkways or ceremony aisle with heavy white pilar candles, light your centerpieces with lots of votive candles, suspend mason jars or lanterns from the ceiling to illuminate your cocktail hour, or collect a variety of candlesticks and candles of different heights to decorate your wedding cake or guest book table. There are a ton of great, creative ways to integrate candles into your wedding decor! Here are some of my favorites :)
...and if I don't see you again before, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
