According to The Knot, ballerinas are the latest and greatest sources of inspiration for brides and wedding decor in 2011. I'm in love with this classic and glamorous wedding theme, which can easily carry you through your entire wedding day (even the shower and bachelorette, if you'd like!) in pale pinks, ribbon sashes and bows, dramatic tulle skirts, sleek bun hairstyles, ballet slippers, ruffles and lovely pink peonies. This "girlish" ballet trend can easily translate into a modern evening wedding in the middle of the city, or a classic, afternoon garden party in the country. It's easy to let your mind run wild! Really, your biggest challenge will be convincing your groom that the truly feminine theme won't eliminate his cigar bar at the reception, or threaten his manhood!
