Classic, Small Town Wedding in New Hampshire Friday, February 25, 2011 ~ 9:29 a.m.

This wedding has all of the makings of a classic, small town celebration that you can't help but love! Currently residing in Boston, Meredith and Colin decided to marry in their hometown of Jackson, New Hampshire, in front of their dearest friends and family one sunny afternoon in August. The small ceremony was held on the lawn in front of a classic, All-American estate, The Inn at Jackson, with simple decor that allowed a fresh mix of summer flowers in light pink, ivory and lavender take center stage. The reception was held in an old barn that had been converted into a pub, which provided a cozy, rustic atmosphere for guests celebrating the newly married couple into the evening.

Beautifully shot by Spring Smith Studios, the reception decor was simple and elegant, sprinkled with little homemade touches that were almost as sweet as the jars of strawberry pineapple jam at each place setting. The wooden barn was lit with tiny white lights strung across the ceiling, with large wooden pomanders hanging over the rectangular tables dressed in white linens and gold napkins. Each tabletop showcased a variety of vases of different heights and colors that held a mix of roses, lilac and greenery that could have been picked right out of a garden, all illuminated with votive candles in gold crystal containers.

After enjoying a white wedding cake encircled in lavender ribbon and topped with fresh flowers, the couple left their reception in a decorated classic car in hunter green.
