All-American, Charitable Wedding in Nashville Thursday, March 10, 2011 ~ 1:06 p.m.

Staying true to their shared love of football, Wendy and Ramey asked their wedding party to sport their favorite football jerseys at the wedding rehearsal, had a special cheesecake decked out in "Hog" football attire and named the tables at their wedding reception after their favorite football teams. Today's All-American wedding is filled with cute ideas like these, dreamed up by Details by Margaret and a fun-loving couple who isn't afraid to go a little non- traditional to keep their wedding truly representative of who they are.

Wendy and Ramey first met in the army stationed at Fort Campbell in Clarksville, Tennessee, and later married at a uniquely modern garden venue in nearby Nashville last Fall. The afternoon ceremony took place outside amongst a colorful Dale Chihuly art exhibit, marked with striking, colorful pieces of hand blown glass, and as they said their vows, Ramey was pleasantly surprised to see Wendy's answer plainly written in black and white, with an "I DO" displayed on her ring fingernail.

Immediately following the ceremony, Photographers Joe & Rhonda Hendricks took advantage of the unique ceremony venue capturing the wedding party amongst the surrounding greenery and art installations, before making their way over to the reception in downtown Nashville by trolley. The Standard Nashville was a more classic venue that showcased decor in the couple's wedding colors, red and black, along with small feminine touches of white lace and flowers placed throughout the space. Each of the tables was personalized with the name and photo of one of the couple's pets or favorite sports teams, and topped with a small floral centerpiece consisting of vibrant red roses, lilies and white hydrangeas. DIY wedding details included the wedding paper and invitations, flowers, as well as the bottles of the couple's own homemade wine that guests took home as favors.

Before the evening concluded, guests enjoyed a traditional three tier wedding cake (in additon to the aforementioned cheesecake), and the bride and groom hit the dancefloor for a "money scramble" dance in support of a charitable cause close to their hearts helping families of the fallen military. The couple left the reception in style in a horse-pulled buggy.
