It's pretty much impossible not to love this gorgeous wedding by Kristina Chartier Photography. You can see the bride's beautiful smile from miles away, and there are simply no gimmicks; just lush white floral arrangements of orchids and hydrangea, a classic ivory lace gown, fragrant white rose petals and tons of romantic candlelight.
Andrew and Jenny's elegant summer wedding took place beach-side on the 4th of July at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in San Diego, a modern venue set against a gorgeous ocean backdrop. The ceremony was held seaside on the grass amongst the palm trees, with an aisle decorated with tall glass cylinders filled with orchids and candles. Guests were given wooden parasols for shade as they watched the bride and groom marry alongside their pet Collie and a rather large wedding party of eighteen. Keeping with the mostly white and navy color palette, each of the bridesmaids wore a floor length navy blue dress, and held a full bouquet of white hydrangeas.
The wedding reception continued into the evening at the Scripps Seaside Forum venue, decorated with luxurious gold and ivory linens, and a sophisticated mix of white floral and candle centerpieces. Guested dined on delicious French fare from The French Gourmet. Finally, the couple's wedding day went out with a "bang," as they watched the 4th of July fireworks shows in the distance.
