Saturday Special Links of the Week:
Essie just launched its 2011 Bridal Collection yesterday, offering a great mix of nail polish colors (with adorable names, of course) for any brides out there looking to stay more traditional, and for those who plan to go a little more bold for the wedding day.
As shown above, from left to right:
Borrowed and Blue - precious yet chic light blue
Made to Honor - flattering nude tone with a hint of pink
First Dance - bold, captivating red
Better Together - sheer sweetheart pink
I think these origami paper flowers by Fish & Lotus would make amazing escort cards at a spring wedding reception. OR...How impressed would you be if your significant other proposed to you with one? So sweet.
Learn how to make your own pretty lace lamps. Pretty, right???
I'm not hugely into accessories. I wish that I was, but most of the time, I'm just too lazy to go through my jewelry box to find the right pair of earrings to match my blouse. *Although, on a side note, I did order one of these freaking amazing jewelry cases, so maybe that'll change once my jewelry is more organized. Anyway, I usually end up wearing the same things every day just out of routine, and I've been on the look out for some bracelets that I could layer on and just wear every day. I think I've found them (and they're not hugely expensive, either)!
A beyond-amazing engagement photo shoot in Havana, Cuba by Jose Villa featured on Once Wed.
Some super cute stuff I stumbled upon this week: Refridgerator magnets from the garden, pretty in pink "Keep Calm and Have a Cupcake" journal and some doily coasters with serious personality.
Fabulous editorial shoot in the April issue of Vogue Australia showcasing one of my favorite trends for spring: BRIGHTS!
I thought this was just the cutest little sign to put beside some jars of jam wedding favors.
I love how the bride and groom look so small in comparison to the field behind them. Like they're ready to take on the big, bad world together! See more photos from this sweet wedding featured earlier this week here.
