The first thing I noticed about this shoot were the vibrant, patriotic colors! The second? The groom -to be can get some serious air!
The couple has an adorable story, too! T and his soon-to-be bride are set to marry in just two weeks on May 28th, before T leaves for Iraq in August. While stationed in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri, T happened to meet Jesamy's parents at a church event. He must have seriously knocked their socks off, because it wasn't long until Jesamy's parents introduced their daughter to T while she was in town from college for the weekend. T later received orders in December instructing him to relocate from Missouri to Colorado, and quickly decided that he didn't want to live without Jesamy. On a trip back to Missouri, Jesamy's father picked T up from the airport, and the two discussed his plans to propose to Jesamy while he was in town. T ended up proposing to Jesamy in the very same spot that Jesamy's father had proposed to her mother, and of course, she said "Yes!"
This engagment photo session was shot by Lindsey Pantaleo of L Photography in Cuba, Missouri. The first set of colorful miltary photos that I mentioned earlier were shot in front of the several murals in Cuba, and the rest were taken at the Old Bird's Nest Bridge.
