While I'm all for unique weddings with fun themes and eccentric wedding decor, I'm always happy to feature a simply beautiful, classic wedding on A Paper Proposal. Something timeless...that any bride could come across ten years from now, and still become inspired by and appreciate.
Today's beachside wedding, captured by Kay Meyer Photography, is one of those weddings. Claire and Trey were married just last month in Carillon Beach, Florida in a wedding decorated with elegant crystal chandeliers, modern framed centerpieces, white pillar candles, pink and white roses and peonies. The bride wore a ruffled white strapless gown by Pronovias with adorable pink satin heels, while Trey and his groomsmen wore appropriate beach wedding attire - tan suits with preppy pink and blue striped ties.
Claire selected pink, blue and white as her wedding colors, which was reflected in the lush, pink and white florals showcased throughout the ceremony and reception venues, as well as the blue table linens and bridesmaid dresses. Besides the elegant decor, one of my favorite elements of this wedding is the cake. I actually had one similar to it! The four tier white wedding cake was created by Confections on the Coast, and decorated with many small, light pink sugar flowers.
