When it came time for us to get our wedding invitations done and out in the mail, my husband was the master of assembly and a pro envelope sealer, but that's about it. Colors are definitely not his thing (he's colorblind), paper, design, wording...he left all of those tasks to me, which I very happily accepted! I think it's pretty safe of me to assume that this is standard operation amongst engaged couples.
Today's couple, Ray and Lily, are a bit of an exception to my rule! The groom designed all of the pretty paper for this February wedding in San Francisco, which consisted of a traditional American church service and a Chinese tea ceremony and banquet. Ray designed the elegant wedding invitations, as well as the table numbers, favor packaging and other sweet paper decor that was on display at the intimate tea ceremony. My favorites? The cute "XOXO" and the love quotation (a la Moulin Rouge) cards!
Talented wedding photographer Julie Mikos captured all of Ray's paper designs in the photos below, and a big "thank you" to Jillian for sharing Ray and Lily's wedding and pretty paper designs with me!
