I'll admit it. I love balloons. I know some of you are probably rolling your eyes right about now because it's another one of those wedding trends, but I do, and I'm not at all ashamed! They're just so whimsical and there's definitely something nostalgic about them. They remind me of Disneyland, birthday parties and all of those great things about childhood that we forget to enjoy as adults. So this e-session has balloons as props, and I LOVE it!

I've actually been holding onto this engagement session for way too long because I really like it, and I just kept waiting for the right moment to post it...well, as it turns out, this is it! :) Lauren and Dmitriy are getting married this summer in beautiful Sonoma, California, but wanted an engagement session that was less soft and rustic wine country, and more urban and modern. Photographer Meg Sexton had nothing but positive things to say about these two..."They are filled with such a huge amount of love for each other and energy for life that simply being near them made me a happier person." Which is just about the nicest thing you could say about a couple, in my opinion. So sweet.

The soon-to-be bride brought the primary colored balloons along (which, as I mentioned before, is brilliant), as well as her and Dmitriy's oh-so-scrumptious smooshy faced pug, Folie (who snores too, by the way).
