I hope everyone had a good weekend! I'm really excited (and a bit nervous, not gonna lie =P) to announce a big new venture for A Paper Proposal | Inspired Weddings today. As of Saturday, June 18th, the new wedding vendors guide, Vendors on Paper is officially live!
Vendors on Paper is a reliable online resource for brides looking for a talented wedding professional, such as a wedding photographer, stationer or calligrapher, event designer, wedding coordinator, hair stylist, floral designer and more. The talented wedding professionals included in Vendors on Paper are based in the U.S., Canada and other popular destination wedding locations including Mexico. The vendor categories are constantly expanding (just because you don't see a particular type of vendor listed right now, doesn't mean it's off limits!) but now include wedding photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, DJ/entertainment, linens and equipment rentals, calligraphers and more. One of the things that I love most about the vendor guide is the section completely dedicated to Etsy businesses, which I know from my own experience, are such a HUGE asset to brides when their planning their weddings.
My second favorite thing about the new vendor guide? If a vendor, such as a wedding photographer, has been featured on A Paper Proposal before, there will be a link to the particular blog post, or real wedding, included in that vendor's listing in Vendors on Paper. That way, brides are able to see more than just what's in the vendor's sample portfolio - a complete wedding, my honest review of their product, and so on. It's a great way to see what a wedding venue you're considering looks like when it's all dressed up for a real wedding, or see what stylish equipment rentals are available from a particular event design business.
Vendors on Paper is organized by vendor type and listing category, and then listed alphabetically. There are two different listing categories in Vendors on Paper: a basic vendor listing and an upgraded listing. Every wedding professional who is initially accepted by A Paper Proposal as a vendor is offered both listing options, and the main difference lies between the amount of information and photos the listing includes. You'll also notice that upgraded listings are more prominently displayed on the vendors page, always at the top of the vendor category.
I encourage you to explore Vendors on Paper, and I welcome any feedback you may have to make it a better resource for brides and other wedding professionals! If you are a wedding professional, and you would like to learn more about being listed on Vendors on Paper, contact Sarah - at - apaperproposal.com.
Last, but certainly (not even close to) least, I want to personally thank all of my fabulously talented vendor partners for being a part of this exciting new venture for A Paper Proposal. Each and every one of these wedding professionals have been featured on A Paper Proposal in the past several months because of their exemplary work, are totally awesome to work with and have quickly become personal favorites of mine :)
