My Destination Wedding Inspiration Board Tuesday, June 7, 2011 ~ 9:38 a.m.

I'm really excited to announce that Mel over at The Oceanside Bride has featured my destination wedding today on her fabulous wedding blog! Please head on over there to check it out and let me know what you think! Dale and I read Mel's post for the first time together this morning, and it was so exciting to get to relive it all over again...it feels like it was just yesterday! *sigh* If you haven't already, be sure to tell Mel congratulations, as well...she's getting married in just two months down in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and I couldn't be MORE excited for her!

I have every intention to go into my wedding in more detail in the coming weeks, but I figured today would be a good day to share my inspiration board for the big day. For those of you who don't know, I was married to my husband, Dale, on February 5th of this year down in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I knew all along that I wanted navy blue to be one of my wedding colors (I'm obsessed with navy and white, for some reason) and I loved the idea of incorporating a nautical look and feel into the day. The yellow was ultimately inspired by the small yellow center of daisies, which I knew I wanted to have around me throughout my wedding day for sentimental reasons.
