I'm a bit short on time today, so I'm going to skip the fancy introductions and get right to it!
I've got a super cute (not to mention totally gorgeous) couple for you today - Brit and Bevon - who took their engagement shoot outdoors to Magnolia Ridge in Washington, Louisiana for a little football and canoodling! For their engagement session, Brit and Bevon were looking for a location that was natural, but also possessed unique architectural elements. "They wanted to have their love documented in a way that was real and allowed them to have fun," said their photographer Catherine Guidry. As you'll soon see, Catherine did a great job of capturing the lovable couple sharing some playful and intimate moments...and there's definitely a few in there that would be perfect for a photo Save the Date card! ;)
Catherine was kind enough to share Brit and Bevon's engagement story, which is definitely more than worth sharing with you guys today! The couple met spontaniously a while back at a softball game at the University of Louisiana Lafayette, where their long distance relationship first began. When Brit decided to propose to Bevon, he knew he had to "do it BIG" (or go home, as they say). The couple was eating dinner at the aquarium, when Brit pointed out some scuba divers swimming inside the big water tank beside them. Bevon was ecstatic when she saw the divers holding a bright blue neon sign that said, "Will you marry me?" She, of course, said "Yes," and Brit slipped a unique pear shaped diamond engagement ring on her finger.
So cute, right?! I love that the proposal was unique and "Big," as Catherine described, while remaining sweet and intimate. Sort of like proposing on the jumbo-tron at a baseball game without the thousands of people there staring.
