Good morning, guys! I hope everyone had a good weekend! The weather was quite amazing here, and I might have taken too much advantage of it, but nothing feels more like summer than a sunburn right? =P Anyway, I'm excited for this week, as I have a few little surprises for you that are a bit out of the ordinary, so be sure to stay tuned!
...Speaking of out of the ordinary, I've definitely got a unique real wedding for you here today! This quirky wedding included a traditional wedding ceremony, two coffee shop receptions, a group bike ride around Vancouver, and a formal reception with a barn dance. Quite a day, huh? Photographer Rebekah Schott definitely had her work cut out for her...following the couple and their guests throughout the day on bike, no less! The bride and groom, Sara and Geordan set out to create a day that was fun, warm and authentic to celebrate their new marriage, and the result was nothing short of extraordinary. Seriously, can you imagine showing your kids wedding photos like these one day? So cool.
The couple's wedding was held this past April, showcasing tons of DIY details including the funky wedding invitations and programs, flowers (assembled by a kind and especially talented member of the bridal party), reception menus (printed on brown paper bags), centerpieces (personalized wine bottles), charming little wedding cakes and more. Really, I could go on and on about this wedding, but these photos by Mod Photography really do a great job of telling the story of Sara and Geordan's wedding day best, so I'll leave it to them!
