There's something about New England...I've actually never been able to explore the area much, but I already love it! The entire region just seems like a charming small town, steeped in early American history and classic architecture. That's the way that it seems when looking at Corey's photos, atleast! The beauty of the New England area is always beautifully captured by wedding photographer, Corey Hendrickson - it seems like I fall in love with it all over again everytime I get to feature another of his weddings!

Doug and Kate's beautiful wedding in Grafton, Vermont, was the quintessential New England affair - complete with the little white steeple church and the All-American, wood furnished Inn. Although the couple grew up only four blocks away from each other, they chose to travel to Vermont for their big day for its "lush, natural beauty," which was particularly meaningful to Doug, who works as a landscape architect. Kate, who is a writing and literature professor, also appreciated the "great literary heritage" of the Old Tavern, which, of course, served as their reception venue. "Grafton, Vermont was a perfect marriage of our own loves, and we felt incredibly lucky to have our wedding in such an amazing place," Kate said. "...the town swelled with our closest friends and family, and Grafton became our own for the weekend."

To further enhance the "vintage charm and simple, rustic elegance" of the New England venues, Kate chose to decorate her wedding with soft white and yellow florals placed in mason jars, river stones and antique furnishings. The wedding party was dressed in bridesmaid dresses by BHLDN in a bold mustard yellow, which provided a striking contrast against the warm, dark wood furnishings inside, and the classic white architecture and soft greenery on the outside.
