Alice in Wonderland isn't exactly a new source of inspiration these days, but it certainly is filled with ideas - both new and old. I think part of the reason it's such a popular source of inspiration, especially for weddings and events, is because there's a perfect blend of both modern and classical ideas, as well as the slightly quirky and whimsical. It's sweet, pretty and pink, and then flipped upside down!
Allison of Allison Barnhill Designs, along with a talented team of vendors certainly saw what the classic story had to offer! "Alice in Wonderland evokes images of a Mad Hatter, clocks, rabbit hole, Queen of Hearts and tea cups. This inspiration shoot has a little of all of the best of Alice with a wedding sprinkled in for good measure! A soft palette of colors in light pinks, lavender and aquamarine gave an ethereal feel to the design. Our very own Alice wore a big, beautiful pink bow in her hair, sipped pink champagne and even got to frolic in the forest with her bridesmaids. Alice's vanity is filled with yummy treats and beautiful vintage teacups and keys. A tablescape with 'floating' feathers and frames is full of fantasy and fun...don't be late! Finally, our four little flower girls were the adorable finishing touch on the whole day!"
