Picks on Paper - Display Menu Ideas Wednesday, October 3, 2012 ~ 9:45 a.m.

Of course, I've featured creative menus here on APP before, but I thought that today, I'd focus on a particular trend in display menus! When I say, "Display menus," I am referring to the one or two larger menus that are set up on display at the reception for all guests to see, rather than the individually printed menus that are typically left at each place setting. There are obvious perks to opting for a menu display rather than printing out a bunch of menus. You save yourself a whole lot of effort and money just creating the one large menu rather than a bunch of little ones that your guests will eventually just leave at their tables at the end of the evening.

Not only are larger menus easier to manage, but economical display menus printed on vintage window panes, large chalkboards and even old wooden crates are very popular nowadays! You can rely on a multitude of items that you may find around your house, at garage sales and flea markets, and then, all you'll need is someone with great handwriting! Here are some great ideas if display menus peak your interest!

I love all of these ideas! I'm a foodie, so I love when a bride and groom focus on the menu!
