Boy, do I have an uber-pretty one for you today! All of the details are super pretty, and girly, and pink, and sparkly and completely lovely. What's not to love, right?! I sound like a school girl, I know. But that's exactly how I feel when I see this wedding! With lush flowers in vivid shades of pink, crystal chandeliers and sparkling candlesticks topped with romantic white candles, it has to be every little girl's dream wedding at one point or another.
Before I get into all of the nitty gritty, I want to thank photographer, Rebecca Arthurs for sharing Lauren and Jason's beautiful wedding with me today. The photos are lovely, and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to share them with you guys today. Lauren and Jason were married last September in front of 85 guests at the Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson, Connecticut. After meeting for an intimate "First Look," they were married outdoors on the estate under an arbor decorated with pink and green (Lauren and Jason's favorite colors) paper cranes. All one thousand of the paper cranes were folded by Lauren herself, who also handled most of the wedding paper herself, including the fabulous wedding invitations, ceremony programs and dinner menus.
I love the little vignette they decided to set up outside under the trees, as well. It made for some gorgeous photos, if used for nothing else! The indoor reception was decorated just as beautifully. All of the tables were draped in neutral and shimmering table linens and topped with centerpieces featuring floral arrangements of different sizes and shades of pink. Amongst the crystal candlesticks and candles that softly lit each dinner table, each place setting was topped with a menu and a small orchid flower; Lauren's father grows dozens of them in all sorts of varieties, and so Lauren was sure to include the flowers in her day.
After the wedding, Lauren and Jason honeymooned in Paris, France.
