Dockside Engagement Shoot in South Carolina Friday, March 2, 2012 ~ 9:25 a.m.

Well, I hope that everyone had a great, productive week! My husband and I are looking forward to relaxing a whole bunch, since we were out of town last weekend. We have dinner plans on Sunday night, and then just a few errands here and there to get our apartment all ready for my mom coming into town next week! I haven't seen her in a couple of months now, so we're definitely excited to see her and to show her where we've been living for the past couple of months :)

Before I get into today's engagement shoot, I thought I'd mention the new additon to my sidebar. If you look to the right of this post and scroll down just a bit, you'll notice a word cluster or a "Tag Cloud," as web designers often call it. This is basically an extension of the tags listed at the bottom of each blog post, which I introduced to you earlier this week. If you look on the right there, you'll see the most popular tags on A Paper Proposal, arranged in alphabetical order, which includes Wedding Photography, all things pink and shoots and things that I've featured in the past that include animals, among others. These are the tags that are most commonly used on my blog, and these will change as I publish more content. If you're looking for something specific, giveaways, for instance, you can click on the View All Tags link at the bottom of the cloud, which will take you to a separate page that lists all of the tags I have used on A Paper Proposal thus far. It's a great new feature that we're really excited about; it seems like a lot of readers are already getting some use out of it! So I hope you'll check it out :)

Before you do though, be sure to check out this engagement shoot taken on Kiawah Island in South Carolina! Corrie of MCG Photography worked closely with the soon-to-be-married couple to create a cute engagement session using signs (my favorite, of course ;) while dockside and on the beach down south. Trevor and Cassidy currently live in Chicago, although they chose Kiawah Island because it was a popular family vacation spot for both of them growing up.
