Sometimes, it's so crazy to think that I've been blogging for over a year (how lucky am I?!). But it's even more crazy to think that I've never featured a Trash the Dress session until now! I have featured a bridal session before that could have been considered a Trash the Dress shoot, but the photographer technically submitted it as a bridal session, so really...believe it! My lack of Trash the Dress sessions wasn't done on purpose, of course...Honestly, I would love to feature a destination Trash the Dress session one of these days...I know that I thought about doing one for my wedding down in Mexico last year.
Anyway, as I'm sure you've gathered, I'm sharing a special Trash the Dress shoot today! A big thank you to Brooks Scribner Photography for being "My first!" and sharing Katie and Sean's photos with us today. The adorable bride topped her long and flowing wedding gown with a denim jacket and cowboy boots (LOVE!), and explored Discovery Park in Seattle for her Trash the Dress session alongside her new hubby, Sean. Katie also brought along a bunch of colorful ribbon that had been used as part of their altar at their wedding ceremony. Oh, and Great Idea Alert: All of the ribbon strands were collected special from friends and family before the wedding! So sweet, right?
