I've made absolutely no secret of the fact that I'm a huge fan of all things nautical (sall things ship and sea), and after last week's popular Seaside destination wedding, I thought that it was about time that I do something fun with the wedding theme! I, personally, went with a nautical look and feel for my wedding day; if you haven't seen my inspiration boards yet, you can check them out right here.

While it seems like there are a lot of great directions in which to take the nautical look and feel, I think we can all agree that there are details that are especially popular and inherently nautical. These include the clean and preppy navy blue and white color palette, bold stripes, boating necessities like rope, anchors and life preservers, as well as beach details including seashells, starfish and sand dollars. You really can't go wrong with this theme, in my opinion. I'm always instantly drawn to all things nautical, and I really never get tired of it, either! There's something so chic, yet really timeless about it...I just love it!
