Today, I thought I'd start with this photo, because it definitely stopped me in my tracks, and I thought it would capture your attention, as well! Gorgeous, isn't it? Like a dream, really. When I saw it, I instantly knew that I was going to feature this engagement shoot...I didn't even need to see the rest of the photos! Lucky for us, we do get to see them though...because it really is beautiful ;)
The great looking couple doesn't hurt, either! Kirsten and David were engaged last summer, and plan to have a destination wedding in Maui this coming year. Their engagement photos, skillfully captured by Yuliya M. Photography, were taken at David's favorite place, the Gabilan Ranch in California, where he spent many of his childhood days building fences and working out on the expansive property.
I think this shoot has a really "Dreamy" quality, in part, because of the thick fog that floats through the air and surrounds the couple and horses on the ranch. "As soon as we started taking pictures, a thick layer of clouds descended into the valley, decreasing visibility and covering us in fog. We took advantage of our new surroundings and scoured the hills for some sun and different backdrops," said Yuliya.
As you'll soon see, Yuliya really does a great job of leveraging the change in weather and using it to her advantage...the photos are truly breathtaking, and I'm so happy that I get to share them with you today!
