I saw this wedding, and I was just happy! The bright yellow and blue color palette is perfect for summer, and along with a great arrangement of florals and lots pretty paper...this wedding is pretty easy to love, if you ask me. A big thank you to Amy of Amy Lyn Photography for sharing her beautiful work with us today!
The bride and groom, Julie and Brent, were engaged last May, and married just a couple of months later at the The O'Neil House in Akron, Ohio (you can read more about their love story below!). With such a short engagement, you may be surprised to hear that Julie actually handled many of the details herself, including all of the wedding stationery. She relied on several vendors on both Etsy and Ebay to track down a great mix of milkglass, cake stands and mason jars, which were filled with yellow daisies, roses and button poms, as well as succulents, white lisianthus and hydrangeas, all arranged by Savoir Faire in Ohio.
Before I get to the wedding, I thought I'd share Julie and Brent's own love story with you all, which was actually printed and included with their wedding invitations! I just love this...
One of my very favorite wedding details was the bride's brooch bouquet (pictured just below). Julie's vintage style bouquet was made using meaningful pieces, new and old, from both sides of the family, including gorgeous brooches from friends and grandparents. "Our children and friends helped add florist wire to each brooch and our florist put them altogether to make the finished bouquet. It will be cherished forever! said Julie.
