Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend. I spent mine up in San Luis Obispo with family celebrating my little brother's college graduation. We threw a party for him and everything, which was fun. I'm thinking about sharing some of the photos with you guys in the next week or so. The party wasn't anything too fancy, but my mom and I were happy with how everything turned out! Now that graduation has passed, I get to go back home to Colorado tonight! I have been here in California for nearly three weeks, and while I had a great time here, I am definitely excited to just get back to normal with my husband and my two kitties for a while. I miss them!
Not only that, but there's something about being out of town that brings out the pig in me! I have been eating like nobody's business, and I'm honestly way too scared to check the scale at this point. I've managed to still workout somewhat regularly since I've been here in California, but my diet has gone completely off the rails. I think that it's because for me, so much of my success dieting is about maintaining a steady routine; the minute I go out for a special dinner, take a vacation or even just find a cool new recipe to try, I end up cheating on my diet. Which is fine to do every once in a while, of course (you've gotta enjoy life, right?), but I feel like I've been indulging for three weeks straight and it is so not cute. I'm thinking about trying a detox or something once I get home just to make myself feel a little better. I'll have to wait until after my birthday in a few days though, of course!
Anyway, I have to thank my super smart and sweet husband for actually thinking up the concept for today's blog post! I just love him...all of a sudden, he'll be like, "Hey, I actually thought of something you could write about!" and the funny thing about it, is his ideas usually end up being some of my most popular blog posts! Boy knows his stuff! As many of you may know, Mondays are set aside for content related to health and fitness. It's actually pretty hard to believe that I started this weekly Bridal Fitness on Paper blog series nearly a year ago! When I look back on all of the posts, I'm pretty proud of what I have put out there, and I can only hope that some of you guys have gotten some use out of the workout reviews, tips and advice that I've shared over the past ten months.
With all of the information I've shared with you guys over the past year, my husband thought it would be a great idea to put all of my bridal fitness posts together and organize them to make them a little bit easier to navigate. That way, if you're ever on the hunt for a great exercise you can do at home with no equipment, you can come back here and find it easily! Not only that, but it helps me to see what I've covered, and what I still need to write about in the future. I hope this helps, and just like the engagement timeline that I have, I plan to continue updating this list with my latest Bridal Fitness posts in the future, so keep checking back for new ideas and motivation!
