Guys, watch out, because I have quite a proposal story for you to measure up to today! ;) I'm teasing; I'm actually of the belief that when it's the real deal, it doesn't matter how you propose; it's special no matter what. Even so though, is there really any better way to proclaim your love and desire to marry than to put it in the sky? I love the amount of thought and effort that Anthony put into proposing to his new fiance, Nichol. I also love that he still went the traditional route...he dropped to one knee with a jaw droppingly GORGEOUS diamond ring, and he still made sure that it was a private moment between him and Nichol. Often times, it seems like in order for a proposal to be "big" and "fabulous," there has to be a bunch of people around to see it, whether it's a giant dancing flash mob, a stadium jumbo-tron or a big family gathering in front of the Christmas tree. This one is a great balance of both creativity and tradition.
Not only did Anthony propose in the sky, he also had Southern California photographer Ryan Garvin waiting behind the scenes to capture every moment of it! "Anthony remained very calm and cool all the way up until the minute he received a text message from the pilot letting him know that the plane's ETA was five minutes out... Once that text was read, the anticipation jumped off the charts," said Ryan. "Anthony glanced in my direction, and gave a subtle thumbs up, and then the plane appeared on the horizon. Just as it came into clear view, Anthony curiously pointed it out to Nichol. As she shielded the sun with her hand to take a look, Anthony dropped to his knee. Her reaction to it all was priceless! And the rest of their story goes on since she said, 'Yes!'"
