Yeah for Fridays! This week felt kind of long for me, so I'm glad that it's over! Before I sign off for the weekend, I thought I would share the rest of my baby shower that my mom threw for me in California in early February. You may remember that about a month ago, I shared the baby shower invitations that I designed. But I also created the menus, signage, favors and cupcake decorations, so naturally, I had to share the rest of the details with you guys at some point!
For baby Jack's shower, we selected a light blue, gray and white color palette with a subtle nautical theme. I knew that I wanted to use white hydrangeas, which were placed inside silver tins purchased from Michaels for the table centerpieces. My mom ordered the yummy desserts from her favorite local bakery, which included adorable petite fours and assorted cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing, which were then decorated with my custom cupcake toppers. We also placed personalized blue and gray M&M's into small cellophane baggies for guests to take home with them. Here are some photos taken at the shower, starting with a family shot :)

Besides the games, the shower favors were probably the most labor intensive job for my mom and me! We had ordered decorated sugar cookies from a local bakery, which we then placed inside little gray and white striped baggies that I ordered from Cakes and Kids Too. I then tied little white Lifesavor mint candies and my "Thanks for sailing by!" favor tags around the baggies using some blue and white twine (this pin was my inspiration). You can see how the favors turned out on the tables in the photos above!
Our guest book was an adorable balloon poster with our baby boy's first and middle name, Jack Mason, and the date of the baby shower, designed by Say Anything Design. I designed a sign (below) that kindly asked our guests to sign their names and little notes to Jack on small circular pieces of paper, which I later attached to the poster as the balloons. I don't have a picture of the completed guest book, but it turned out SO well, and I'm planning on hanging it up in the nursery very soon.
