Well, it's Monday...but it's also a holiday week for most, so that's good! My husband still has to work (boo!) and they've cancelled the fireworks show here because of the wildfire danger, but my mother in law is also in town to see Jack, which has been nice so far. It's awesome to have a little bit of help around here!
Today is Monday, which means it's time for another edition of Bridal Fitness on Paper! I'm sharing a new workout that I made up for myself recently just using the two flights of stairs in my house and a pair of hand weights. It's a good mix of cardio and strength training, and I like it because I always seem to be sore the next day. Those stairs are killer! I specified a time on the stairs since not everyone is going to have easy access to exactly two flights of stairs like me. Plus, you'll want to choose your own pace...not too tough, but not too easy either! If it helps you to compare, I always climb the two flights of stairs in my house up and down a total of 4 to 5 times in each 5 minute period. My butt and thighs always kill afterward! After each five minutes of stairs, you'll do a series of strengthening exercises, and then start the whole cycle all over again twice more. Try it at home, at the beach, park or anywhere else you happen to have access to stairs.
Bridal Fitness on Paper is a weekly blog series posted every Monday, where I share and review a wide variety of cardio and resistance training workouts, both inside the gym and out. Bridal Fitness on Paper is meant to help guide brides along their weight loss journey all the way to the altar and beyond! All of the reviews posted are based on my own experience; I am not a fitness or nutrition professional, and am not liable for any injuries incurred while trying any of the workouts that I share here on A Paper Proposal. If you're curious about a specific workout, and you'd like for me to review it, please do leave a comment below or feel free to send me an email at Sarah - at - apaperproposal - dot - com.
