Hey guys! I hope everyone is enjoying their summers! It seems like this week is a busy time for vacations...my pilates class was practically empty last night! I'm kind of jealous...I'm DYING to go somewhere tropical with a pool or a beach like Mexico or even my hometown in California. But we are holding off a bit on traveling, of course, because of our new little one. That's what the babymoon to Belize last December was for, after all! Our first trip with Jack is going to be to Park City, Utah in about a month for my cousin's wedding, then we'll be out in California to visit my family in September. I think more than anything, I'm just missing WATER. It's super hot here, and I don't have pool (boo!). There IS a community pool nearby, but it's always swarming with kids. That, and I have to be honest....I am scared to get into a bathing suit so soon after having Jack =P
While we're all trying to escape the sweltering heat, I'm sharing a cozy little spring engagement by K Stone Photography. You will soon see why I love this shoot. No props, big, elaborate themes necessary...just gorgeous photography, beautiful light and a natural setting. I got such a well written submission from the photographer, Kimberly, that I thought I would just share her words to go along with her photos. PS...the girl in the shoot, Ashlee, totally reminds me of the girl from the Vampire Diaries!
"Sometimes you get the perfect combination of style, personality, and time of year. This was our engagement session with Ryan and Ashlee. They are absolutely beautiful people, with a beautiful story of love. And when the two collided with the spring orchards and wildflowers in Chico, California, this photo session turned into one of our favorites to date. You will definitely be inspired."
