Hey guys! Hope you all had great weekends :) Dale and I have been pretty busy with Jack lately...sorry I haven't been able to post every day like I used to! I'm hoping that I'll be able to dedicate more time to APP as Jack gets older. In the meantime, I appreciate you visiting regularly because I am still sharing some great weddings and engagement shoots here each and every week!
Today, I'm excited to share a modern city wedding made unique by a bold cranberry red and plum color palette, fabulous stationery and the stylish integration of the couple's Chinese traditions. Lori and Kevin started their wedding day in June with a simple and intimate first look at the hotel where the bride was getting ready. The couple then hit the streets of Vancouver along with their wedding party for pictures with Jamie Delaine Photography before the ceremony was set to commence at that afternoon. Kevin and Lori were married at the modern Ironworks venue with an awesome chalkboard set up at the ceremony altar.
The newly married couple and their guests then moved over to the Kirin Chinese Restaurant for a reception decorated by Setting the Tone Weddings Design with burgundy calla lilies and orchids, Black Magic dark red roses, Forever Young red roses and Rubicon red spray roses. Lori and Kevin especially loved their dessert table, made up of sweets and a wedding cake created by the bride's cousin. Make sure you take a look at the awesome photo cake topper of Lori and Kevin as kids, too!
