I think that today's rustic grey and white wedding down in Texas is a great example of how focusing in on just a handful of smart, stylish details can really go a long way. When I look at Stormy and Tony's wedding photographed by Michele Shore, what really stands out is the clean grey and white color palette, the pretty white florals by Simply Bouquets, the mason jars and the rustic wooden and burlap elements used throughout the decor. Oh! I'm also a fan of the custom bean bag game set that the couple had made, which also doubled as the guest book for the evening.
I thought that Stormy's favorite memory from her wedding was so sweet, it was worth sharing... "Every bit of it! Really, my favorite memory is of the next morning. Waking up at 5 am and realizing that we were married. It was such an exciting moment because the night before had just flown by. We had our first breakfast as husband and wife at the W in Dallas, and then had a car take us to the airport."
Stormy's response to my question totally reminds me of that quote I see on Pinterest every once in a while... "A wedding is a sacred event, not a performance. If at the end of the day, you are married to the one that you love, then everything went perfectly."
