Ashley had a crush on Nick from the first moment she saw him in high school. "There were over 2,600 students in our high school, but I just had to have him. We had some mutual friends that I bugged about him constantly, just to find out who he was and what he was like. And shamefully so, I created a Myspace (we're old!) so I could friend him and get his attention. When we finally got the chance to hang out, and I loved him instantly!" said Ashley. "We dated over three years before moving in together, and once we did, I knew it was forever. I knew he was the person I wanted to come home to every single day. He was the person I wanted to raise puppies and babies with. It's fun to be in love with Nick." After dating for six years, Nick proposed to Ashley at a fruit farm in front of their close friends, with the same engagement ring that Ashley's dad proposed to her mom with in 1979.
Being a wedding photographer herself, Ashley worked closely with Allison of Studio 127 Photography to craft what I like to call a "Cozy cool" engagement shoot in Ohio's great outdoors.
