I am super excited to share Michca and Eric's wedding, photographed by Autumn Cutaia Photography, because I have honestly never featured one like this before! Hosted at the Von Tornow Gallery in Denver, this modern wedding, designed by Storytellers Events, is unique, artistic and imaginative.
The colorful, art-inspired wedding was originally inspired by a quotation from the novel, Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell. "She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something." Highlights from the day include the brightly colored flowers in paint buckets, and the bouquets and bouttonieres that creatively incorporated paint brushes and colored pencils, to add to the fun of the day. Elegant watercolor cards, signs and fabrics by Aquarelle Maison decorated all of the reception tables in the art gallery.
The guest book was rather fitting for the modern art-inspired affair, providing small 3x3 canvases for the guests to paint or to write on for Michca and Eric. "Something that we were particularly excited to create was a kids table. We purchased little containers at Michaels, and thought about creating an art table for the kids, which would be covered with paper. We also provided empty frames on the art gallery walls that the children could use to frame their own artwork that they created at the event. Now, their art is on display for everyone to see. In all, we wanted to create a fun, beautiful, and memorable event that incorporated art elements throughout."
