If you've been following my wedding blog for a while, then you probably know that beach destination weddings are especially close to my heart. Shameless plug: I was married on the beach down in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico nearly four years ago; you can see some of my wedding pics here!
Today, I'm sharing Cortney and Ben's intimate beach wedding down in beautiful Key West, Florida. The beach venue was a perfect choice for them, as they first met while attending a weekend birthday celebration in Key West for a mutual friend! After the weekend vacay, Ben and Cortney kept in touch, with him in San Diego and her in Orlando. "After hundreds of phone calls and numerous cross country flights, we decided we'd had enough of the long distance relationship. I was lucky enough to find work right before moving, and Cortney flew out to make the cross country moving trip with me. We've been living together in bliss ever since," shared the groom.
Featuring images by Filda Konec Photography, the couple's wedding ceremony really is so romantically breathtaking, right beside the water with the beautiful sun setting behind them. Definitely my favorite part of the day! I'm also in love with Cortney's awesome ivory, peach and purple bouquet designed by Love in Bloom. After the ceremony, the wedding moved to the outdoor patio at Martin's, where the couple shared their first dance to "No One's Gonna Love You," by Band of Horses.
