I am SUPER excited to share this wedding on APP today! It's unique, beautiful and stylish; not to mention well executed by Amanda Douglas Events and skillfully captured by Mackenzie Jean Photography. I hesitated to label this wedding "Gothic," because I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea and think it's a gimmicky weddings, but I also think that it has a darker, old world feel to it that will stick in people's minds that way! For their wedding, Celeana and Ray wanted an "earthy mix of urban meets woodlands" filled with bold floral arrangements, both large and small, candle light and unique wedding stationery. The wedding invitations and place cards designed by Robin Egg Blue Design have a cool black and gold geode theme to them, and I'm loving the calligraphed quotations decorated throughout the venue.
"The wedding day started with their ceremony, where the seats were laid out as a circle so all guests could get a great view, and Celeana and Ray could see their guests, as well," shared their event planner, Amanda. "The couple was surrounded by the most beautiful floral and greenery arrangements mimicking a canopy of lush trees. Celeana loved the ideas of their guests being reminded of the wedding and gift again in the spring, so each family left with their own personalized gift of tulip bulbs. The night was capped off like any great party should be - with fire dancers!"
