Both Abby and Keaton wanted to incorporate their love of all things creative into their big day at the elegant Indiana State House last Spring. A talented knitter and knitting teacher, Abby walked down the aisle with a handmade yarn ball bouquet in bold royal blue and white. Another highlight of the day was the beautifully staged wedding ceremony, which was choreographed by the groom, who is a producer and director. "The wedding party's entrance to the ceremony was choreographed to music," described their photographer, Jennifer Van Elk. "They walked to the center and created a wall, so as the bride and groom entered the ceremony area, they were hidden from each other by their bridal party. At just the right moment, the two lines of the bridal party split and the couple was finally able to see each other."
Their wedding reception was especially unique, as well. Rather than a formal, sit down dining experience, guests moved casually from one table to the next enjoying yummy appetizers and snacks including a fun popcorn bar. The bride's brother also made a movie for the guests to enjoy while they snacked.
