"Courting Kasia was no easy task," shared Gary. "If you know Kasia, you know how thoroughly she thinks things through and how detailed oriented she is. It took three months of talking over the phone, sending funny e-mails and countless text messages to finally get her to take a leap of faith and hop on a plane for Villanova. Since Kasia's first visit fell on Valentine's Day in 2008, I had flowers waiting for her at my apartment, despite knowing full well she wouldn't be able to take them back to Chicago. To really seal the deal, I had the same flowers sent to her apartment in Chicago with the note, 'Didn't want you to be without these.' Boom, marriage ensued six years later."
After sticking together over long distance for several years, and over 180 trips between the two of them, Gary proposed to Kasia in the heart of Chicago. The entire proposal was captured by TKL Photography.
