You'd be hard-pressed to find a bride who hasn't relied on Michaels in some way, shape or form for her wedding celebration. Whether it's the kraft paper menus at each place setting, the wooden letters on the dessert bar or the pretty lace ribbon around the bouquet, Michaels gives every bride the opportunity to put her personal stamp on her wedding day. With everything from doilies, to cake boxes, metallic paint pens, stamps, glass vases, silk flowers and so much more, Michaels is every DIY bride and wedding planner's dream come true!
Personally, I can spend hours wandering the aisles of a Michaels craft store. Michaels has been a part of my life since I was a kid, when my mom and I would go to gather supplies for big science projects and class presentations! I was just in one of their stores a few weeks ago, where I saw moms picking up fancy green baskets, colorful plastic eggs and candies for their kids come Easter morning. While Michaels stores clearly have something for everyone, it's the wide variety of paper, packaging and other craft materials at low prices that make it a hub for planning brides everywhere. I've been married for over a year now, and I still find myself browsing through the pretty wedding stationery, colorful satin ribbons and shiny silver favor tins that line the aisles of their wedding section!
Michaels has quite an assortment of printable wedding stationery, as well as materials for your wedding favors, centerpieces and decor. It arms every bride with what she needs in order to turn her creative ideas into reality. I actually featured a rustic-style wedding back in November, in which the bride worked as a designer for Michaels, and created her centerpieces, favors and all of her stationery using materials purchased from the store. Definitely worth checking out, if you haven't already!
If you aren't quite ready to take on the big DIY projects yourself, Michaels also has a website entirely dedicated to personalized wedding and event stationery, scrapbooking and photo albums called MiDesign@MichaelsTM. The website allows you to select from a variety of wedding paper designs including invitations, save the date cards, personalized favor boxes, printed cocktail napkins and more.
