Just last month, I shared a winter engagement shoot by Catherine Guidry, and today, I get to share their big (and boy, do I mean BIG) day with you guys! This winter wedding is three things: Big, glamorous and chalk-full of lush, shiny details. The photographer, Catherine Guidry, definitely had her work cut out for her making sure she captured the whole day in all of its glory. I don't think the bride and her decorator forgot one little thing - not a hair is out of place! From the fur shrugs on the bride and her bridesmaids, to the snow dusted Christmas trees and the white florals dripping with crystals, Hanna and Jarrad's January wedding down south was the ultimate winter wonderland.
This past January, Hanna and Jarrad were married at the gorgeous and grand St. John's Cathedral in Lafayette, Louisiana in the presence of 300 guests. The bride wore a lace gown by Allure Bridals, with a stunning bow and oversized brooch custom made for the back of her dress (LOVE!). The bridesmaids all wore one shoulder satin dresses in ivory with matching gloves and bird cage veils, with the men in classic tuxedos. While the church was dotted with classic holiday decor, the reception immediately following was covered in glamorous white and silver details that you really have to see to believe. With lots of white roses and hydrangeas, crystals, rhinestones, mercury glass and votive candles, it's the uber-glam winter wedding to top all winter weddings!
