Haha, get it? "Sweet NAVY Love" ... ("Sweet Baby Love")? This shoot has nothing to do with babies, of course, but I've always got my baby on the brain. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that's clever, but I just wanted to point it out real quick!
Today's featured couple, Michelle and George, were actually next door neighbors since they were teenagers. So cute, right? "It wasn't until George left for the Military that he became interested in Michelle," described their photographer, Traci Burke. "They began talking, and George found comfort in something familiar from home - his sweet next door neighbor."
The couple's classically romantic engagement shoot took place on the Deerfield Beach Fishing Pier down in Florida. I really love how they incorporated George's uniform into the session...so classic. "George, a huge Beatles fan, proposed to his shop-a-holic lady on the sky walk at the Grand Canyon. Michelle was worried the ring would fall through the cracks of the bridge, so she quickly said, 'Yes!' George took four years to convince Michelle to watch all of the Lord of the Rings movies and Michelle drags him along on her shopping trips. Together, they make a perfect couple who will truly do anything for one another."
