It would seem as though fate brought today's love birds together, as they first met after crossing paths at two different dining spots, two nights in a row. On that second night, "As fate would have it, my... crush [encountered the night before] was at the table directly next to us! I wasn't about to miss this opportunity again, so I approached Sarah and introduced myself. She recognized me, as well...we exchanged numbers and have been together ever since," said Ben. The couple would later get engaged at the same restaurant where they first laid eyes on one another, and were married last August.
After a traditional church ceremony, Sarah and Ben chose the very cool Aria venue in Minneapolis for their reception, which lended an industrial chic vibe to the evening. Utilizing a gray and ivory color palette, the couple went with a contrasting shabby chic, vintage feel for their wedding decor, featuring hanging paper fans, strips of softened lace and mercury glass.
I happen to be a huge fan of all of the fun photos of the bride, groom and wedding party taken by Erin Johnson Photography. You can just see how much fun they had at this wedding; I love it!
