Today is a special day, because I have the priviledge of featuring my first same sex wedding. I've received submissions in the past, but I evaluate same sex weddings the same way that I do ones of the opposite sex - they have to be beautiful, with inspiring details and ideas - with quality photography, to boot!
Chris and Francisco's wedding, photographed by Casey Hendrickson, definitely fits the bill. The couple's wedding was held at the majestic Van Dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, decorated using a classy black and white color palette. Their wedding invitation was a true reflection of Chris and Francisco's big day, a one-of-a-kind etched glass plate wrapped with silver ribbon. Their wedding ceremony was what really caught my eye, decorated with gorgeous white flower arrangements, and Francisco walking down the aisle with a sparkling brooch bouquet.
