"Chelsey and Rapheal are a couple that effortlessly exude their love for each other," said photographer Katherine Salvatori. Katherine also described their church ceremony as "Incredibly emotional with tears, laughter and excitement," after Chelsey and Raphael's long two year engagement. "Chelsey's personality came through during the ceremony, as well - she kicked her shoes off halfway through!" Haha, I like this girl already! I wore sandals at my beach wedding; otherwise, I probably would have done the same thing!
After the ceremony, the couple and their wedding party took a ride to their reception in a trolley. "It was around 5 p.m. on a Friday, so traffic was slow, but it was a great time...dancing and drinking...the whole way there! That was a highlight of the day for me," said the bride. Raphael and Chelsey made a grand entrance dancing on rollerskates to their head table, and then Raphael sang Chelsey a sweet song that he had written her for their wedding. Awww! At the reception, florals were kept to a minimum, with bold black and white damask linens making the biggest statement in beautiful venue. The table numbers were made by the bride herself, featuring childhood photos of the Chelsey and Raphael through the years.
