Hi guys! For the rest of this month, and a little bit into May, as well, I'll be sharing some great guest posts from some of my favorite wedding professionals. It's basically my version of a maternity leave so I can enjoy some quality time with my new little boy :) I will still be popping in once or twice a week to share some great weddings and engagement shoots, too, but be patient with me for a bit, because my posts might not be as involved or detailed as they normally would be. I will no longer be posting on Fridays during this time, too.
Kicking off the start of this month's guest bloggers today is Alicia, the talented designer behind Akimbo stationery, here to share a super helpful and practical wedding stationery checklist!
Hello lovelies! Alicia from Akimbo here. I'm delighted to be joining you while Sarah is off with her brand new bub (congrats, Sarah!).
Your wedding stationery will be ticked off your to-do list as soon as you've ordered your invitations, right? Well actually, no. There is so much more to wedding stationery than just invitations. Have you considered your seating arrangements? How you'll inform guests of extra information and activities? What about menus? Thank you notes? Ceremony programs? Oh my!
A well thought-out suite of stationery can set the theme and tie all the visual elements together, while also being essential to the smooth running of the day's events. It's easy for those little details to slip the mind in the flurry of wedding planning, resulting in confused guests, frantic last-minute print jobs and potential budget blowouts. All this can be avoided with a bit of forward planning.
I've put together this handy checklist for you so you can relax knowing you've got everything under control. Click here to download and save the checklist for yourself!
