Happy almost-Thanksgiving! Like most of you, I will be taking tomorrow and Friday off from my work, blogging, so I wanted to mention that today will be my last post for this week. I hope you all enjoy your holiday and family time; I think now more than ever, we all should take some time to really think about what we're thankful for. Me? I'm sure you can guess that I'm most thankful for this little baby growing in my belly. Every day, my belly swells just a little bit more and while I can't feel the little guy (or girl) just yet, I have faith that he/she is growing bigger and healthier every day.
Now switching to today's business...Having lived in Colorado for almost a year now, I thought that it was about time that I focused on my new home state for a blog post. Because I'm a wedding blogger, I get asked about the wedding industry in CO quite frequently, and I have to say, that I'm definitely still learning. What are the most popular venues? The best time of year to marry? What vendors do you recommend? These are all tough questions that I wish I had the answers to, but I don't! At least not yet. Looking back, I'm sad to say that I've only featured one engagement shoot and one bridal shoot that took place here in Colorado. I wish I had more to share! Colorado vendors, please submit your weddings and photo sessions, as I'd love to better represent my new home state here on APP!
Anyway, I thought that it would be good to start my new home state wedding adventure by focusing on Colorado wedding venues for this week's Picks on Paper. As I'm sure you can guess, most of these wedding venues have more of a rustic and natural feel to them, although all of them could easily be transformed into whatever you please with the right amount of imagination! I hope this roundup helps any of you Colorado brides out there, and if you happen to have any other CO wedding and event venues that you'd recommend, please do so below in the "Comments" section!
