You'll notice that there aren't a whole lot of details in today's featured wedding, but there's something so simple, clean and elegant about it that I just love. The stunning photos by Laura Gordon are definitely worth a second, third and even fourth look, too! I'm totally in love with the close-up shots of the bride and groom, Jessica and Andrew.
Jessica and Andrew first met in high school, and dated for five years before tying the knot. Andrew actually proposed to Jessica during a holiday trip to New York City, right in front of the big tree in Rockefeller Plaza! The couple was married on a picturesque vineyard in Virginia last April. While you don't see them here, Jessica handled many of the decorations herself with the help of her mother in law. Jessica's bouquet was made using beautiful brooches borrowed from her mothers and grandmothers, as well as lace off of her mother in law's wedding dress. The groom built the garden arbor where they were married, and the bride baked her own wedding cake. "So incredibly stressful - but so worth it in the end!" said Jessica.
